(LAist) Amusing I see your stolen R2-D2 mailbox and raise you a purloined Silver Surfer statue. Pair it off with the missing Galactus & you've got a matching set   (laist.com) divider line 6

The film itself was missing Galactus, subby. :(

Glad to see they used the Extra-Wide Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap on the board. The regular stuff wouldn't make it beyond Mars.

Dariodevil, subby here-isn't it terrible that with all the special fx & whatnot Jack Kirby could do with his drawing board @ the 60's than filmmakers are willing to do in the 21st Century?

While I was annoyed by the change of Galactus myself, which is easier to believe for none Fantastic Four readers:

Giant space cloud
Giant guy who eats planets?

So much wasted potential (and money).

As opposed to the rest of the film, which is rooted in science...

By the way, he literally doesn't eat them. He sets up machines and draws the energy of the world itself into him, turning it into a barren rock. Non-comic geeks could understand a demigod-like alien that feeds in such a way. Tim Story & Co. don't know how to approach anything in the F4 mythos except a few beats from members' relationships.

Like I said... so much wasted potential (and money).
