Did you even read the farking article? The Cubs are not planning this, Major League Baseball is. All this states is that Lou Pinella is not against it, but the first line of the article states 'The Cubs don't have any immediate plans to ban alcohol in the clubhouse'.

Maybe Fark should ban subby from drinking in front of his computer so that he doesn't submit farked up headlines that do not match the article.

They should definitely ban beer from the BUSCH Stadium clubhouse. Especially when the BREWERS are in town.

I find it interesting that there are comments coming out of the Cubs clubhouse about beer in the clubhouse but not from the Cardinals clubhouse. You would think that the Cardinals, after LaRussa's driving (sleeping) under the influence and now the death of one of their own, would pull their heads out and think about making some sort of comment.

LaRussa is in total denial about his and his players' drinking issue. I understand that he threatened a St. Louis beat reporter with a Fungo for asking questions about Hancock's suspension for coming to the game hungover 2 days before his fatal accident.

LaRussa is a lawyer and should know better.

Hmmm...not only was Hancock two times over the legal limit, but he also had pot and a pipe with him in the SUV. Seems that beer isn't the only problem in the Cardinals clubhouse (Kile and pot).

In no way am I defending La Russa, mainly because for years, the Cardinals have had a cone of silence-like attitude when it comes to dealing with the media. But, it's not denial; it's more of a case of "us against them". It's the way that Bill DeWitt, Walt Jocketty, and La Russa operate.
