The first one wasn't even scary.

The first one was just disgusting and this one doesn't sound any different. Let me guess, a bunch of people in the desert, men and women. They get picked off one by one in really gruesome ways, the attractive one gets raped, and in the end, one or two of them walk away after farking up some mutant shiat.

The first one had the rape scene. OK, while I don't like it, I can accept that it's there. Why does the second one need the rape scene as well?

No offense, but what does everybody think The Hills Have Eyes is? shiat, did anybody see the first one?

I love horror/slasher movies but the recent ones just aren't fun. Some women are tortured/raped, the end. They don't even fight back. These filmmakers are nihilists, Walter.

The remake of The Hills Have Eyes was infinitely better than the frightless, tame and ultimately boring crop of Saws and Hostels. The sequel, however, looks like the bowel movement of a mutant disfigured by nuclear radiation. Craven's had his moments: original Hills, Last House on the Left, the first & last Nightmare flicks. I didn't mind Scream, but I blame it for the lack of real horror films during the 90s.
/ I'll probably end up catching the sequel through teh magic of teh internets

These filmmakers are nihilists, Walter.

That's why they'll never be the filmmaker that Leni Riefenstahl. Say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, but at least she had an ethos guiding her.

Yes, but this one's different. It's the Spawn of Craven.

These movies aren't horror movies. They're violence-based porn.

I'd also like to mention that the scariest English language movie ever made was "The Serpent and the Rainbow", directed by Wes Craven.

They are now. I saw the first run of The Hills Have Eyes at the Exton Drive-In back in about 1970-something. It was simply awful, on every level. Even worse than "Bloosucking Pharoahs from Pittsburgh".

Rape ..... such an ugly word for such a beautiful act.

/I want a tshirt that says that
//don't have the balls to wear it in public
///thinks rape is bad

Ha, Ha! The headline is funny because Wes Craven's son Jonathan can also be considered to have been 'created' by him. Ha, Ha!
