I was getting bored and about to quit until I came across this:

So almost the entire list was lifted off of IMDB. Good job, guys.

They didn't even research themselves to make sure the imdb claims were accurate.

Wow... spotting anachronisms in movies never gets old.

Mandatory nitpick:

They get on Superman Returns for the speed of an EMP, but mention nothing about the orbiter firing it's engines during reentry, despite the fact that such an act is also impossible?

I mean, if you're going to point out obscure things most people won't notice, why not point out the one more people are likely to notice?

/It makes sense to me.
//Does it make sense to you?
///I have the right movie, right?
////mandatory SLASHIE!

couldn't get past page four, where the f are the screen shots of the flubs.

Great article. Steal a bunch of comments from IMDB and then include random pictures from the movies.

IMBD also noted that the original Rubik's Cube that Smith's character solves in the film didn't have the logo on the center white square. That logo was added much later.

So what's the flub here? Are they saying the Cube should have had the logo even though it was added much later?

In Marie Antoinette you clearly see Kirsten Dunst who was not even born until 1982. Way after the French Revolution. I cant believe the director missed this.

My favorite part is the fact that they keep referring to IMDB (internet movie database) as IMBD.
Looks like they need a proof reader who isn't dyslexic.

Ummmmm... No... I think it really is Internet Movie BetaDase.

In Smoking Aces, you can see the doctor in a white coat walk past Ace near the end of the movie. I often catch mistakes in movies but big deal, as for Departed teh movie in reference, if you try to follow the time line, teh chips were a high priority which were getting traded/sold like in a day, but was actually months later in the movie.

A second error was spotted when Luthor inserts a crystal into a kryptonite cylinder and the crystal immediately starts growing. Since the crystals are described as needing water to grow (and the cylinder was obviously dry), the crystal shouldn't have reacted until after it was launched into the ocean...

Exactly what I was thinking.

Article uses "IMBD" __twice_, instead of IMDB. Cute, in an article about nitpicking.

That said, the Goofs section at IMDB is more often an indicator of the sad, sad lives certain basement dwellers have. Also, they are goofs themselves as often as not.

Does anyone have that link to the gag IMDB page? I think it was from something awful, but it had this hilarious list of goofs about all sorts of random stuff in the movie.

You know I hated leonardo di caprio for a long time, until I saw blood diamond, he did a awesome job in that movie.
The guy from jason bourne movie, those 2 together in a movie, wow...

Uh question for Ms. Bellamy. In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a... [the nerds chuckle] a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

These lists are normally pretty stupid, but this one's exceptionally bad. The only source they list is IMDB, which lets anybody add info. The article could very well have been "a friend of mine saw this."

Also these goofs are a little reaching. Every single one is "this movie takes place in year X, and a character uses/was near/mentions something that wasn't invented until X." I consider goofs to be film equipment in the shot or something equally telling.

I liked the part in that Blade sequel where they outran the black lights.

Not to reveal myself as a basement dweller, but I assume that the scene you're talking about is the piggyback launch from the 777. I don't recall the orbiter ever landing in the movie.

Holy massive plug for imdb.com. Somebody got paid for that or they would have lifeted moviemistakes.com.

Dear god....

Poor script girls......what a thankless job, and if you fark up, it gets blasted all over the internets.

I can guarantee that none of the people who make up these lists could do any better.
