Since when do hippies go to Burning Man?

Everyone I've ever met who talked my farking ear off about Burning Man were Yuppie types who get off on staged, watered-down hedonism. I've never been to one, but it strikes me as the kind of event built for marketing managers and advertising execs who want to take acid once a year and feel like they live interesting lives.
