This writer, I hope, is a joker.
Ramone wrote a song for his BROKER?
His death was a crime,
But it seems, JUST in time.
To keep him above mediocre.

Now I have to pull that CD out of storage just to listen to that tune.

What's happening on Wall Street?
What's happening at the Stock Exchange?
I want to know
What's happening on Squawk Box?
What's happening with my stocks?
I want to know

I watch you on the TV every single day
Those eyes make everything okay
I watch her everyday
I wach her every night
She's really outta sight
Maria Bartiromo (x3)

What's happening with Yahoo!?
What's happening with AOL?
I want to know
What's happening with Intel?
What's happening with Amazon?
I want to know
I watch you on the TV every single day
Those eyes make everything OK
I watch her everyday
I watch her every night
She's really outta sight

Maria Bartiromo (x5)

What's happening on Wall Street?
What's happening at the Stock Exchange?
I want to know

What's happening on Squawk Box?
What's happening with my stocks?
I want to know

I watch her at the big board every single day
While she's reporting you best stay out of her way
I watch her everyday
I watch her every night
She's really outta sight

Maria Bartiromo (x3)

Way to get the scoop Executive Travel magazine! And only a mere five years after this was news!

MARIA Bartiromo has some punk-rock roots - she used to privately advise Joey Ramone on how to manage his finances.

That's what Todd Thomson should have claimed: Yeah, she was advising me, that's it.

I'd squak her box

Didn't we all know this back in 2002?

Anyone that helped Joey make some decent coin is a hero in my books.

I "need" her more than "want" her.

She's accrued my interest.

I'd depreciate her fixed assets.

I want to view her bottom line.

I'd amortize her goodwill over 15 years.

Straight line!

I definitely have ard money with her.

I hope her options have a put (out).

Those aren't real.

Actually, I remember reading an interview shortly after Joey's death where she said that she didn't know much about him at all, and that her brother pointed out to her that he had written a song about her. So it seems unlikely that she personally advised Joey, any more than she personally advises anyone who watches her show.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was at a trading firm I was doing a service call for. These guys made a shrine out of neckties surrounding an autographed picture of Maria on the wall.

Actually met Maria once when she still did all her reporting from the Exchange floor. I was surprised how pleasant she was in spite of the insane deadlines and working conditions she was in.
