This freakin guy has zero to complain about. His team is good. They won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. And they've got a good qb. The Giants on the other hand aren't that good. The Giants QB has to go to Indy to cheer his brother on. A little envious? At least Tom Brady is good and made progress. Eli has made zero progress. I've made more progress with Brooke Burke and I've never met the biatch. So wicked pisser Pats web guy has zero to complain about. Hey at least your team is there year after year and that's all you have to worry about. I have to worry about if my QB is going to suck or if he's going to royally suck.

I laughed out loud at least ten times, simply because I've known guys from Mass who revert to talknig like that when they're drunk and watching football.

I would like to see thirty-two of those each week, one for each team, done by the esteemed members of the Fark Sports Tab.

It would be called...uh...FarkSportsTV.

I would find this funny if I didn't see this behavior so often. BTW, That is a total exaggeration of the accent. Way to push stereotypes, jackass.

I dunno, as a Colts fan (live in Indiana), I think this guy was awesome.

"Tom Brady eats clutchcakes for breakfast."

Apparently he must not have ate breakfast on sunday then.

I'm no Colts fan, but seeing Tom Brady choke was priceless.

Brilliant - absolutely brilliant.

Those living outside of New England who don't get it - move along, nothing to see here.

im no pats fan (colts fan actually), but i dont call throwing a pick on a last minute drive after moving 40 yards in about 10 seconds choking.

sure they blew a lead, but thats on the defense. the final score was 38-34, not 38-14 or something. if "big eyes" makes those two easy catches, the pats probably win that game.

i have alot of respect for both teams and im actually quite pleased to see the rivalry grow to this level.

tyler8186 2007-01-26 02:15:56 PM
nah, i still consider it choking, he was driving downfield, and the colts defense wasn't stopping him

he definatly looked like he could have had a touchdown and won the game

but instead, he threw a pick

Everyone does throw interceptions, but soo late in the game, on a crucial drive in which the pats could have won it, and in the AFC Championship. A interception is an interception, the quarterbacks pass ended up in the opposing teams hands. Now, I do loathe Brady, so maybe that's why I consider it a "choke", but I'm sure many others share my sentiment.

Credit does have to be given to their defense, but in 10 years no one is going to remember the name of the guy that intercepted Brady, they're just going to remember that THE Tom Brady was intercepted on a crucial drive that ended up costing him a trip to the superbowl.

okay, i don't like Brady, but no one's going to remember that in 10 years, they'll remember that he has 3 Super Bowls already. It happens often enough that last-minute drives fail that it's not all that bizarre.

But it was nice to see him fail just so people can stop the charade of 'he always comes up with a win'

subby here... (after a nice nap)

Fitzy is gold, and Scatmandingo is right, you can go thru youtube and see all of them, he even does excellent movie reviews. It's a joke, he's obviously playing on the whole masshole thing, but it is fantastic. You'd probably find it less amusing if you don't know anybody inside of 495, but you gotta admit the Caldwell Costume bit was tits.

/He will be on 100.7fm WZLX's "Karlson & McKenzie" morning show next thursday or friday, you boston fahkahs

tyler8186:

Brady and crew put 27 points up with the D adding 7, they had an 18 point lead at half. I am no Brady fan but he didn't "choke". The D and the coaches lost this one for the Pats, not Brady or you could say that Manning won it, but to say he choked doesn't really make sense.

I wouldn't call 38-34 a choke on the losing QB, especially as an underdog on the road. Wouldn't a choke be more like taking one of the highest scoring offences ever into a game against a team missing its Pro Bowl DE and CB, and managing to lose 20-3? That seems more of a choke to me.

IcarusWept: I wouldn't call 38-34 a choke on the losing QB, especially as an underdog on the road.

I wouldn't call it a total choke, but even as a Pats fan I have to admit that blowing the lead they had kind of made it a choke. I wouldn't put it all on Brady though, because even if Brady didn't throw that pick, the odds of him (or any QB) making it all the way down the field for a TD are probably less than 50%, with that little time left. I put a little more blame on the Pats' D, but the bottom line is you have to give Peyton credit for all those drives in the 2nd half. He one-upped Brady, plain and simple.

Doomed4Lyf 2007-01-26 06:17:42 PM
Yea, it's very difficult to look back on that game and blame Tom Brady. They scored 28 (not counting Samuel's INT of course) points and went up 18 early. The real story was the Patriots defense showing their age/speed.

I would say closer to less than 10%. Like the team getting the ball back with most of the field to go would score a TD just a little less than half the time.

Not a Colts fan or a Patriots fan, but to say Brady choked is ridiculous. I'm sure Jordan missed a shot or two at the end of a game here or there. Did he choke? lol

Tom Brady Choking? What game did you watch? His defense and receivers failed him. Brady put the Patriots in the lead and his defense failed to contain Manning. If the Patriots had never led, or failed to score in the second half, you would have an argument, but up until the last 2 minutes of the game New England was in the lead or tied for the lead.

Not a big Pats fan, but Caldwell and the defense need to wear the goat horns for this one.

If Grossman has half the day that Brady had next Sunday, the Colts are frickin' toast, cuz their defense won't blow a three score lead.
