Fading career? Are you kidding?

Name another athlete that'll make $50M in each of the next five years. Sure... his best playing days are behind him, but his career has never been brighter.

I sure wish my career would slump so much I only make $250,000,000 dollars, this unbridled success is getting old.

Hi Mr Jealousy.

I don't like soccer and I don't particularly like him, but he's got a good farking life. I'd take a quarter of that money and his plastic wife and live with it.

Why the fark was this even linked? There was nothing in that article remotely new or interesting.

I'm wondering if the writer of the article got her GED.

Beckham has been a team player on every club he's ever been on and he is - on and off the field - all business. That's all I need from any professional athlete.

The L.A. Galaxy is about to become one of the most dangerous teams in the MLS. Beckham makes players around him better, he gives them more chances to score, he seldom turns over the ball and he can take it away from just about anyone.
Of course, then there is the ability to strike the ball with power and enough touch so that you can place it just about anywhere you want.

As far as celebrity goes - two more nuts in Hollywood isn't going to hurt anyone.

i used to think posh was hot
probably because she was

but she looks like a scary biatch from hell now

those morons exchanging jewellery that could feed a city
and pouting over life's imperfections

there is a chapter in my book on professional athletes

but hey, don't get me started...

Awful article, badly written with glaring factual errors. Beckham did not lead England to the finals where they were defeated by Zidane and France (France defeated Brazil to win the cup). England lost in the round of 16 to Argentina on penalty kicks, and Beckham was sent off after tangling with Simeone. If I recall correctly, that is when the Beckham hatred in Blighty really began. How in the world did that article get green-lighted?
