Only way they could rework into a success it is to make it trashier - and there's already plenty of trashy contests on TV. If they try and make it more respectable (ie. eliminate swimsuit competition or get more professionals as candidates), it will only end up more irrelevant.

Stay the course until feminism and dignity are back in fashion.

Here's an idea for better ratings. They've got the swimsuit, talent, and all those competitions. Why not add a "debauchery" category. Send them all out to a bar one night and see who does the most wild and crazy things.
