The only good beer is root beer.

The rest tastes like ass and shat. Don't give me the 'acquired' taste nonsense either. Ass and shat is not a taste I'd like to acquire.

/high five to the person behind this

Drew!! This TheDaymoose does not belong here! It is like having an atheist working the The Vatican!

That guy desperately needs to improve user-participation (besides simply submitting new breweries) somehow. It's the only way to go if he wants to expand.

A number of places in the Boston are are missing from the map, but this could still be so useful for visitors.

I wonder if this could be a user-contributed project, i.e., open to the public to submit an entry.

Beer is for Adults, so why don't you run along and eat your pop rocks and root beer, child.

/I am mystified why someone would take the time to post such nonsense that screams "I am an immature sniveling brat" with a palate trained on Froot Loops and Kool Ade.
//Man up.

Thank you for the insightful and useful commentary.

I can tell you from experience that the Detroit map is just showing the tip of the iceburg.

yaden24 2006-09-25 11:54:19 AM
I think it has most (if not all) the micro-brews for the Twin Cities but hopefully there is more to be found. Definitely missing a lot of stores/bars but I hardly need all thousands of them.

Armed with this site and beeradvocate.com, you can travel anywhere and have a good time.

Oh, cmon, my google map is way better than his.

[Though honestly, Jonathan Surrat and I have emailed in the past and we both like each others projects.]

TheDaymoose: he only good beer is root beer.

There is nothing, I say again, nothing as refreshing and thirst quenching as a nice brew!

I know that the Atlanta map is in development, but in the meantime I recommend www.atlspecials.com

I'm not a beer fan either. I've tried it, it's just not for me.

Now if they could add a Rum tab to the maps it would be heartwarming

I <3 Rum and Coke

I find it amusing the general response to someone not favoring beer is an assualt on his manhood.

God forbid someone not enjoy your personal favorite beverage.

La Casista in EAV doesn't have the $6 sweetwater pitchers (Thurs) anymore. They are $9. Friends and I don't go there that much anymore cause of it.

regardless, the site kicks. Thanks for sharing.

Portland is the Microbrew capital of the world. I am home now.

Please be kind to TheDaymoose. He'll hit puberty eventually. Then we'll all have to have "The Talk" with him, to explain that not all girls are "gross", just the ones he can afford.

F50Grunt 2006-09-25 03:34:23 PM
Cool idea, but it definitely needs a lot more expansion. I know a lot of big places that aren't on there, and I don't even drink.

/not 21 yet

Eh, I'm not surpised. There are definitely a few deals that are outdated (or just flat out wrong). But it's not too bad in general.
