Honestly, with the many mice, rats, small dogs, stray cats, and abandoned children, we should let more snakes go in urban areas.

I love those people that keep dangerous pets simply for show. Gives me good laughs later on when they're dead or injured and say something like "I never thought it would turn on me"

i believe in phreedoms and all, but i've also seen and heard enough stories about snakes tending to wander and not being very easy to confine.
i don't think i'd pheel comfortable phalling asleep with that big ol' snake in the vicinity.

That snake was more than big enough to constrict him to death. Not big enough to swallow him, or even make a good try of it, but easily big enough to squeeze the life out of him. Snakes are very strong and walking around with the thing draped over you like that is just asking for trouble. Startled snake = it clamps down and squeezes him to death.

Then again, if you're allowed to own a 120 pound Presa Canario death machine dog....

I like snakes to an extent. I mean I dont see anything wrong if someone wants to have one as a pet.
