Texa$: Perri-air, canned on Druidia

In Junior High (1991) we had to create a product and film a commercial. We decided upon canned air, and named our product Dairy Air. The commercial was rather bizarre, to put it mildly, something involving super-heroes.

Here's an idea: stop pumping toxic shiat into the air we have.

crazy, I know.

chakalakasp [TotalFark] 2006-05-13 11:55:49 PM
Heh, eyeroll! Hemoglobin can only carry but so much O2, and lets face it, unless you've got something wrong with you or you just opened the airlock to suck the alien mother out into space, it's already maxed out just by breathing the free stuff that surrounds you.

Driving Without Pants 2006-05-13 11:55:56 PM
This isn't a surprising development. They already have "oxygen bars" in some of the world's smoggier cities. Products like this wouldn't exist if people took environmentalism more seriously.

Great, people now have to pay for bottled air and bottled water.
What an age we live in.

Doddilus 2006-05-14 03:45:07 AM
Isn't 02 somewhat of a controlled substance? Like heavily regulated by the FDA and requiring masive amounts of paperwork involved to sell it?

Oznog 2006-05-14 03:47:41 AM
Farkbert, you so beat me to it!

I am NOT paying $2.75 for a gallon of oxygen... oh who am I kidding. I gotta breathe to get to work.

radioberlin 2006-05-14 03:53:03 AM
Ah the japanese, is there anything they can't do?

Vigorous_Apathy 2006-05-14 03:53:06 AM
I'll start my stockpile today.

When the atmosphere has been totally screwed in our ever increasing battle to build a bigger SUV or a cellphone with EVEN MORE features, you people are going to need this stuff.

HA! HA! I'll make a killing!

I wonder what the shelf life is?

No. That would make it pretty hard to weld, or use in your airplane.

LOl idiot japanese.

oxygen bars were a fad in like early 90s in USA...

Continue with your backwards culture - I have been sitting in my lawn chair with popcorn for the last 20 years laughing my ass off.

suck suck suck (though spaceballs reference, someone from japan would imagine a pre-teen doing this, or some 20 year old who tries to look 12...)

Grand Fromage 2006-05-14 04:09:33 AM
You know, I sort of wish this were available here. I'm sure a can spraying 95% oxygen would be great fun combined with various flaming objects.

AgentPothead 2006-05-14 04:19:19 AM
All I can say about the submitter missing the completely obvious Space Balls reference is...wcvw.org
ludicrous.

This is going to end badly.

Then again, if these cans actually show up at 7-11 it will be the first time that the Mainichi Daily has gotten something right.

Funzo 2006-05-14 04:29:16 AM
Won't be long before there's canned Gatorair sports air for those athletic types, and then diet air for the health concious.

I wonder what the shelf life is?

Well since bottle water has a use by date of about six months despite the fact that it's been water for billions of years I can imagine air having "Use before you get home on day of purchase" stamped on it.

Senator Claghorn 2006-05-14 06:03:35 AM
Canned oxygen has been around in Japan since at least the 80s. What's "new" is that 7-11 will be carrying it.

7-11, for those who don't know, has the distinction of being the first Japanese subsidiary that posted greater sales than its parent company. You can't throw a rock in this country without busting a window on a 7-11 anymore.

Dr.Fark 2006-05-14 06:18:06 AM

Dairy Air - would anyone buy canned air that sounds like it came out of a frenchman's arse?

7-11 of Japan actully now owns 100% of the 7-11 company as of the end of last year.

Pure Oxygen is great for clearing up a hangover. It won't completly go away but it will do wonders for clearing up your head.
Welders have had access to bottled oxygen for years, from the torch rigs we use every day. 2 or 3 hits is all you need.

Yes. Yes it is.

jbigboa 2006-05-14 07:17:06 AM
It is just what I need after my morning cigarette!!
7-11 go for cigarettes, and Oxygen.

Actually, I always wanted to Hit an Oxygen bar see what kind of buzz it causes.

Lets see we burn carbon with oxygen to make CO2 the carbon is from the groung the oxygen from air.
Ya, we are going to NEED this some day

/Will all be walking around like old people do.
//I quit over a month ago.

Archie Goodwin [TotalFark] 2006-05-14 07:22:20 AM
I just can't wait till some moran decides to steal a few cans, and yes you're way ahead of me here, and read a newspaper headline saying - Oxygen Thief.

Maui Haui 2006-05-14 07:23:54 AM
Yeah, I'd like 5 cans of oxygen, 5 bottles of that there butane lighter fluid, one of them self heating cans of latte' and about 50 pounds of nails if ya gottem.... no nails? Damn, uh... OK..... gimme one of those "bag of shards of glass". Sweet. Thanks, have a good day.

Oxygen has emerged as a popular new product

Correct me if I am wrong...

is oxygen not kind of an OLD product?

Just saying, you know, it's been around for a while...

Phrozen - Grapefruit flavored!
