Floyd R. Turbo strikes again. What about the other 43 states? BWAHAHAHAHA!

7/50 where people DON'T think you're an incompetent boob...

Very impressive indeed.

KazamaSmokers 2006-02-18 05:20:09 PM
I think NMPH's fingerprints are on this one.

pshaw 2006-02-18 05:20:55 PM
I don't live in any of those seven states. What am I taking?

KazamaSmokers 2006-02-18 05:21:07 PM
And they're all western states. Not the deep south. How weird.

Made me laugh.

sarahthustra [TotalFark] 2006-02-18 05:21:24 PM
these polls make me angry. mostly because i want to find these people who voted for him in 2004 and are now supposedly having doubts about his performance. i would kick rocks at them.

EL_FABREZ 2006-02-18 05:21:43 PM
I approve of Dubya just because he's doing the lords work.

Hey, someone besides me is using SurveyUSA for once!

Here's the map, depicting net approval (approval % minus disapproval %):

I'm still trying to ascertain what Bush's poll numbers have to do with "liberals."

pontechango 2006-02-18 05:26:35 PM
I wonder what the combined population of those states is?

thejoyofpi [TotalFark] 2006-02-18 05:27:03 PM
Well done submitter! The headline had me ROFL.

The ones in the middle are more interesting. Looks like quite a few states that voted for the moron are less enthused about his performance than they were in 2004.

Ohio, in particular, where there happened to be some serious election sheistiness.

7 whole states?!! He must be so proud.

Good headline, whomever you are. The irony is delicious.

I'm so excited for November 2006, my dick is hard.

It's either trying to figure out that map or the vodka, but I have a splitting headache now. Thanks.

Githerax 2006-02-18 05:35:11 PM
Wow I feel totally put in my place, because polling better always means he's doing a better job.

Gosling [TotalFark] 2006-02-18 05:36:29 PM
*Red means approval beats disapproval by 4% or more. (Red as in, red state.)
*Pink means approval beats disapproval by 3% or less.
*White's a tie- equal approval and disapproval.
*Light blue is disapproval beating approval by 3% or less.
Blue (blue states) are where disapproval beats approval by at least 4%.

Meaning: Wyoming loves them some Dubya, Kansas isn't too sure but will take him, Alaska is a political warzone, Kentucky is mildly ticked at Bush, and Louisiana just plain hates him.

If politics give you an erection, you really need to get yourself a date.

That should help his reelection campaign.

Gosling: Louisiana just plain hates him.

And we hate our governor, and we in New Orleans hate our mayor. We pretty much hate all politicians right now, because they aren't worth a damn. Politics in this country are a farce.

Funny headline

Gosling [TotalFark] 2006-02-18 05:42:20 PM
That should help his reelection campaign.

He loses enough ground in November and he'll be campaigning for office all right. Just not for re-election.

Yeah, I know. Normally I wouldn't care as much, but this is just the worst president. I will be ecstatic when the Republicans lose power later this year. America needs to stand and pull its pants back up once and for all.

congressional victory is not a fait accompli. when it comes to lawmakers, voting is local. folks often despise congress as a whole but say their guy is OK because he helped them get something or is a porkmeister. and if the Ds do not campaign strong enough on defense, the Rs would get those votes.

I'd say Grant was far worse. And as for Republicans, the unfortunate by-product of them losing power will be the Democrats gaining it. The only good thing about Katrina was it gave us a chance to undo the damage of four decades of Democratic control of this city that drowned it in crime, corruption, and poverty. And God knows that Democrat governor of ours is an unmitigated disaster of a leader. Yeah, Republican leadership is fairly lousy, but Democratic leadership is pretty damned shiatty, too. To hell with both those corrupt institutions.

dude, strike that. republican leadership is great. they're doing exactly what they've always want to do: increasing profit margins, decreasing taxes, and somehow compelling americans who aren't benfitting from either of those things to blindly support them.

Agreed, actually. But I don't think the green party or the libertarians (try to find two of them who agree on exactly what the hell that even means) are going to step in and save us either.

Given the choice (and I do think R and D are the only two we have), I'll take Dems anyway.
