Mr. Morton was a farkhead, Mr. Morton was.

Something worthy of the COOL tag. If it's before your time, you just wouldn't understand.

Gaambit 2002-03-03 07:37:13 PM
I must be the only one who doesn't get the appeal....and I grew up in the 80's....

beans and rice, beans and rice - so nice!

mlcurtis69 2002-03-03 07:43:21 PM
Gaambit, you would of had to grow up in the 70's to have an appreciation for School House Rock. It's that simple.

EQAddict 2002-03-03 07:50:34 PM
I was born in 1986 and I love Schoolhouse Rock.

Smack Johnson 2002-03-03 07:53:03 PM
I was born in 1984 and its cool with me.

Ted Striker 2002-03-03 07:54:30 PM
I'm just mad School House Rock gets all the press, what about:

+ Chopper, that Fonzie looking fool who was all jazzed about eating celery.
+ That weird, yellow, round dude with the cane and the top hat that was trying to get everyone to eat cheese and crackers
+ The "Saturday," the healthy alternative to a sunday, which was disturbingly phallic.

DontMakeMeStopThisCar 2002-03-03 07:55:06 PM
I needed something to look forward to get me through the summer!

Schoolhouse Rock has been mocked and imitated in so many ways I don't know if I could ever watch it with a straight face.

RobbieFal 2002-03-03 08:02:12 PM
I'm an amendment to be, yes, an amendment to be, and I'm hoping that they ratify me, there's alot of flag burners who have got too much freedom, I want to make it legal for policemen to beat them, cuz there's limits to our liberties, at least I hope and pray that their are, cuz liberal freaks have go too far.

Hey, maybe now some Farkers can write with proper grammer.

Fark and grammar should not be used in the same sentence.

Infidel 2002-03-03 08:06:16 PM
I am SO buying this

farkinIcehole 2002-03-03 08:11:14 PM
Maybe Janeane Garofalo and Ben Stiller can get together and make some more lame, post-modern pseudo-hip "generational" references in lieu of actual creative writing and talent, and pass themselves off as the voice of a bored and shiftless generation to a ticket buying audience while actually portraying Ethan Hawke as a supposedly sympathetic slacker type when in actuality in a few short years his character will probably get some high paying fake internet job only to squander all his money on a BMW Z3 only to crash it, get fired and end up back at the shallow well of bad writing that was "Reality Bites"...

Sorry. Had to vent.

one good reason to watch Fox's celebrity boxing:

Vanilla Ice will be in action against a Mystery opponent!

will it be MC Hammer, Suge Knight, that Milli Vanilli guy who isn't dead, Bobby Brown?

Junebug 2002-03-03 08:11:35 PM
A hankerful 'a hunka cheese.

-nuff said.

BTW, Don't drown your food!

farkinIcehole 2002-03-03 08:12:47 PM
Speaking of which, I grew up watching schoolhouse rock on a black and white TV in the 70's. Seeing it in color is a traumatic experience, like a flashback to a world I didn't know existed.

Cool.

Bart: "What the hell is this?"

Lisa: "It's one of those campy 70's throwbacks that appeals to generation X-ers."

Bart: "We need another Vietnam; thin out their ranks a little"

Hey, I couldn't have been the only one doing the toothpick in the fruit-juice-filled ice tray thing that dancing yellow guy with the top hat showed how to do every week.

I'm the most important person in the whole wide world.

Razner 2002-03-03 08:48:02 PM

"Introduction"
"Software"
"Hardware"
"Number Cruncher"

The hell? I dont remember any of that shiat

MechaRudo 2002-03-03 09:21:48 PM
Look, Mr. Chips, I programmed the computer to print my name over and over! And I saved the program to this tiny 8-inch disk!

Keep at it, Scooter. By 1990, computer programmers will replace pro athletes and rock stars as our nation's heroes!

Hooray! I'll finally get invited to birthday parties!

Used to be able to download all the SH videos for free at this site but then Disney bought the rights and the site went away. Darn.

That is, at http://genxtvland.simplenet.com/SchoolHouseRock
