If you bake Silly Putty in the oven, it hardens and becomes immalleable. Once this process is finished, the substance is known forever afterwards as Serious Putty.

feckerman: that's not a secure form. it tries to open up your meail client and send all of the info.

CanuckGuy 2002-03-03 06:14:23 PM
Geophraq I think feckerman was being fecicious(sp?).

feckerman Any business can PAY to get cc authorizatuion. YOu get a handy 1-800 number and punch in the numbers. I use to do "door-to-door" type sales (limited edition wildlife prints) and that's how we'd do it.

I grew up in a town with a GE Silicone plant, and we used to go through the fence in the dump there and find huge mounds of this stuff. Much fun in mass quantities.

Chesterfield, MO? This guy is about 10 miles away from me. I could just drive over and load up the Integra.

volksweasel 2002-03-03 07:29:46 PM
Yeah, this is a repeat...

This article has caused many arguments at work regarding if silly putty was a fluid solid or a very viscous liquid...

discuss amongst yourselves

Sam-I-Am 2002-03-03 08:06:20 PM
If you drop that stuff from a few stories up, it shatters.

</useless info>

Testiculus 2002-03-04 07:18:47 AM
Did you see the animated .gif at the bottom? "Come Shop". Is there really a retail market for this stuff? Ewwwww.
