Bush gave a very good speech. He probably went down the most concise list of things that are f.cked up in this country.ever.... and said he plans on changing them..

I only have one question:

Why didn't you work on all these things over the past four years?

Don't listen to this B.S. America. He's leading his sheep.

Think for yourself. Question authority.

nephka [TotalFark] 2004-09-03 04:41:10 AM
So, authority, where were you on the night of June 12, 1976?

/got nuthin

Scaryduck 2004-09-03 05:05:19 AM
Beautifully scripted rhetoric well spoken by the useless do-nothing.

Next candidate please.

Bush didn't offer us enough stuff. I want my free trips to Mars.

vpRockstar 2004-09-03 05:18:08 AM
If by "terrorists" you mean "Americans," then yes.

Caspertoo 2004-09-03 06:21:59 AM
I wonder if the 2 americans who died today in Iraq got the memo that Terrorism has lost.

luxdsg 2004-09-03 07:42:03 AM
when is Newsmax going to run the Ann Coulter naked photo series?

Dogbowl 2004-09-03 08:25:06 AM
bush will win in a landslide ..

Dashiki 2004-09-03 08:31:18 AM
When I heard him flawlessly pronounce "We will leave no child behind" in Spanish, I knew it. He's going to win.

/still chuckling at people yelling "Viva Bush", not because it's stupid, but because it's really funny.

thethrowdown 2004-09-03 08:32:53 AM
bush will win in a landslide

...however...philosophically speaking..

we *all* win if bush gets caught in a landslide

This is what he sounds like without his script

When I heard him flawlessly pronounce "We will leave no child behind" in Spanish, I knew it. He's going to win.

Meh. Dukakis pulled the same stunt back in '88.

Whamdangler 2004-09-03 08:46:08 AM
Bush will win in a landslide!

Diebold has already made sure of that.

Jeep 2004-09-03 08:46:30 AM
Wow, most slanted use of the hero tag EVAR.

misterbee 2004-09-03 08:46:34 AM
There were far less voting Hispanic types in '88, though. Plus, Dukakis was a choad.

Uranus 2004-09-03 08:47:37 AM
and summoned the nation toward victory over terrorism and economic security at home.

I am certain that he will emerge victorious ove economic security at home...

CravenMorehead 2004-09-03 08:47:39 AM
This is all Bush is good at. He is a good speaker. That is all Bush is. He is a figurehead not a president.

Mr. Clarence Butterworth 2004-09-03 08:48:12 AM
More boring platitudes and empty rhetoric.

hatechall 2004-09-03 08:48:15 AM
That was pretty funny thethrowdown. Is that an old joke I am not aware of?

coachmcguirk 2004-09-03 08:48:16 AM
Awww...Crap. Flame War. I'm getting too old for this shiat!

SpectroBoy 2004-09-03 08:48:38 AM
I wish I lived the fantasy land that the RNC described. How nice it would be to feel safer. I would love to live in a country where the economy is recovering, jobs are being created, the budget is balanced, and the government actually reported to the citizens. How lovely it would be to live in a world where terrorism was being defeated.

Sadly, here in reality land, Bush's war has aggravated terrorism to the highest level EVER recorded. The budget deficit is setting records, and jobs continue to be lost.

Can I buy a ticket to move in to Republican Fantasy Land? Or is that only for rich white republicans with famous daddys?

Lost_in_Korea 2004-09-03 08:48:46 AM
Wow! four days of nothing but 9-11 during the Republican Convention, and yet not one time was Osama Bin Forgotten mentioned. Even more amazing, I haven't seen one word in the liberal media about the fact that Bin Laden wasn't mentioned.

Where's the person responsible for 9-11, Bush? Or was 9-11 an OJ Simpson moment? You know, I'll never rest until I find the real killer...between rounds of golf.

He's a good speaker? I thought a week ago he was a chimp who couldn't speak english.

/liberals can't keep their stories straight.

binnster 2004-09-03 08:49:09 AM
In what sense of the word is Bush a 'hero'?

lowdown 2004-09-03 08:49:21 AM
Bush does complete commercials in spanish on spanish language tv stations.

strangeffect 2004-09-03 08:49:28 AM
Well hopefully it convinced the terrorists to stop terrorizing. That would impress me.

Raiders of the Fark 2004-09-03 08:49:46 AM
"Hero"??? Oh man. And I can remember when Fark was cool. Oh wait, no I can't.

That entire convention will backfire big-time. Just like in 1992, Americans don't take well to hate infested fascist rallies.

thebruins 2004-09-03 08:49:58 AM
what's with the hero tag? he refused to fight in Vietnam so what's so heroic about his sending troops all around the world

Teaser 2004-09-03 08:49:59 AM
Is this the same GW Bush who said the other day that the war on terror could not ever be won?

strangeffect 2004-09-03 08:50:47 AM
Greenlava

Have you seen Anchorman? He's like Ron Burgundy when it comes to speaking.

//Go f*ck yourself, San Diego

"Thank God George Bush is our President."

in 1992, Americans don't take well to hate infested fascist rallies.

What are you talking about? Clinton won by a landslide!

SpectroBoy 2004-09-03 08:51:20 AM
Remember this speach from the presidents Iraq file? I think this one is a little closer to the truth about the Whitehouse. . . .

Nero Kalem 2004-09-03 08:51:23 AM

Aren't we getting tired of all the Bushllit?

riceowl03 2004-09-03 08:52:04 AM
This is all Bush is good at. He is a good speaker.

Ahahahahahaha... whooo, hoohoo, aww man thanks for making my Friday already- that was hysterical. Now I gotta split before the chorus of "Baaaahhhhs!" erupts.

greenlava 2004-09-03 08:52:04 AM
strangeffect

I admit he's not a great speaker. just curious when that other dude decided he was a good speaker

ZenGonzos 2004-09-03 08:52:06 AM
I think in order to rock any mike you should have a decent command of the English language.

Chris4549 2004-09-03 08:52:13 AM
Can someone who's going to vote for this guy give me some reasons why? Like 3 or 5 (or so). And not include anything about why Kerry (or Nader or that other guy) suck. Seriously. Because I don't understand in the least why he's been a good president.

Sam's_choice [TotalFark] 2004-09-03 08:52:14 AM
I wonder if the people in Russia are blaming the school disaster on Putin...kind of like all the blame goes to Bush over here....

redfence800 2004-09-03 08:52:19 AM
He's still a dumbass.

dukefluke 2004-09-03 08:52:47 AM
Shut up barjockey, you cock. Goes for you too, greenlava.

NewsMax? Why don't we just link to Democratic Underground?

akimity 2004-09-03 08:53:09 AM
I find it so funny that there are still many retards who think Bush did this for Oil. You can argue that it maybe wasn't something we should have done, but the conspiracy theory crap is for idiots.

Did anyone see Bush tearing up...oh wait your response will be it was an act. The guy feels what he did was the right response. I probably wont be voting for him, but I think he made the right decision with the information he had.

bashturn 2004-09-03 08:53:10 AM
The tag belongs there the same way the belongs to the announcement of the winner of Nobel physics prize

FreudulentSplit 2004-09-03 08:53:21 AM
He's had 4 years. He's had a Republican congress. Why didn't he make significant headway toward his "path" in the last 4 years?

He will have to raise taxes, like his father, or he lied about cutting the deficit in half, and funding all his programs. He's a Democrat in Republican clothing.

Feh.

bender_the_offender 2004-09-03 08:53:29 AM
uniter.. not a divider.

JokerFoo 2004-09-03 08:53:34 AM
Is Kerry still whining about Vietnam and how the republicans are picking on him? Worst.Campaign.By.The.Democrats.Ever.

/neither republican nor democrat

way2slo 2004-09-03 08:53:46 AM

Bush is right with his approach to the economy. Kerry is wrong. I know this because I have been involved in running small businesses and know how hard it is to run them. I also have studied business at university. The Bush plan is the right thing to do. Vote Bush.

Bush is right with his approach to terrorism. Kerry is wrong. Attacking terrorists across the globe and using political pressure to force other nations to crack down on terrorists is working. The world is a safer place because of the Bush Doctrine. The Bush plan is the right thing to do. Vote Bush.
