Fark Wishlists

As you may or may not be aware, it's a time-honored tradition for teenage cam-girls to post their Christmas wishlists to the net. Folks that visit their sites actually buy things for them. It boggles the mind.

A bit ago, Something Awful ran some wishlists for the folks that write for their site. People actually bought them stuff. Whoda thunk it? We tried it the past five years and got a few cool things.

All the volunteer mods and admins have been doing a hell of a job with Fark. They deserve some cool stuff for Christmas.

Or you can donate to charity in their name, if they have one listed below.

Either way, if you get someone something, you might want to drop them an email, or in Amazon's case have a note put on the receipt, so they know who to send thank-yous to. It hasn't always obvious from the receipts in previous years, unfortunately.

It is also recommended that anyone with a Fark account make a list and add it to their bio5 freeform slot in their user profile. Click Fark Edit User over there on the left sidebar to see where to do this.
